thebigword is pleased to announce that it will be holding a series of Linguist Summits across the UK, starting in Leeds at the Hilton Double Tree for its extensive network of professional Linguists.

The global language service company will kick start the exciting new series of Summits, holding the first one on Tuesday 22nd January 2019 in Leeds to share state-of-the-art technology updates, such as its latest innovative app WordSynk. As well as this, the up-coming Summit will run interactive workshops to cement the partnership between thebigword and the Linguist Community.

Additionally, thebigword will showcase its innovative products and suppliers that will support Linguists with their day to day work, with talks from guest speakers such as the International School of Linguists (ISL).

Concluding the Summit, Nihat Arkan, thebigword’s Global CEO, will chair a live Q&A session, as well as present a ‘partnership’ award for a nominated Linguist, dedicated to their hard-work and cooperation with thebigword.

With a global network of over 15,000 Linguists, thebigword aims to strengthen and build its existing presence and brand loyalty amongst the Linguist Community and develop true partnerships.

The Linguists provide expert translation and interpretation support to more than 2,500 customers. Providing public and private sector linguist support, they ensure people can connect and communicate worldwide, from emergency situations in hospitals to car manuals in showrooms. Working as key partners with thebigword, the Linguist Community help break down communication barriers and make the world a smaller place.

Georgia Emery, who works closely with thebigword’s network of Linguists said: “Our Linguist Community are the lifeline of our business and we deeply value the professional and high-quality work they do for us.

We aim to consistently strengthen our relationship with them and we look forward to this opportunity to do so.

By holding a series of Summits, we hope that our Linguists feel fully supported by thebigword and acknowledged for their exceptional work. We look forward to presenting to them our latest technology, updates on the company’s focus and future plans, as well as answering any questions they may have.”
