Global language technology company thebigword has been awarded a new contract with the North East Police under the Police’s DPS Language Services framework.
The North East Police, consisting of Northumbria, Durham and Cleveland Police forces, previously worked with thebigword on the CCS framework. thebigword was successfully awarded the new contract following a rebid.

thebigword will be able to support the above forces through a variety of interpreting services, translation and transcription services using their WordSynk technology.
WordSynk enables the communication between the Police and those who do not speak English by allowing a connection to an interpreter in less than 30 seconds when there is a language barrier.
