thebigword Group celebrates diversity on International Women’s Day

Today is International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Here at thebigword Group we value diversity and inclusion, and we are proud to have Women in senior roles across the business leading teams in Sales, Operations, and HR.

We are proud to say that 56% of our workforce are women, and our senior management roles are evenly balanced. Everyday women are making a huge contribution to the thebigword’s success and the growth of the wider localization industry.

Sabina Green has worked for thebigword Group for more than eight years started in recruitment and after five promotions, Sabina is currently Global Head of Recruitment for Bids/Tenders across the group.

Sabina said: “It’s great to work for a company that celebrates diversity. During my time at thebigword Group, I have worked for two strong women who have really been role models for me. They inspire me every day and remind me that I can achieve anything.”

Rachel Ali who is Business Development Director joined thebigword Group in 2006 has risen through the ranks. In 2013 Rachel opened thebigword European Headquarters in The Hague, The Netherlands.

Commenting on International Women’s Day, Rachel said: “I am proud to work amongst a workforce of strong women who have a say and I believe are the driving force in striving to offer irresistible solutions and technology to our diverse client base.”

Sarah Paveley has worked for thebigword Group for three years and is now Global Head of HR.

Sarah added: “I have never worked for a company that is as diverse as thebigword – but we never sit back on our laurels! We now have more women on the board; more women in our technology department and I’m proud to be part of a company that constantly pushes itself.”
