Global language technology company thebigword has secured a transcription contract with Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills), an independent non-ministerial Government body in the United Kingdom.
Ofsted is responsible for inspecting and regulating institutions providing education and care for children and young people. Ofsted’s primary purpose is to ensure that children and young people receive a high-quality education, achieve their full potential, and are kept safe and well-cared for.
Through the transcription contract, Ofsted will have access to a number of services including verbatim transcription and detailed transcription – these services make it easy to convert audio files into readable text.
