The true embodiment of entrepreneurialism, Larry Gould has built thebigword brand from start-up 40 years ago, to leading language technology business working in partnership with many of the world’s top brands and government organizations.
In order to keep ahead of the game, Larry has presided over the development of language technology that has ensured that thebigword is now one of the top global language companies in the world.
Commenting on his achievement, Larry Gould said: “I am honored to receive the Eichner Award.
During my 40 years in the business, the language industry has made a huge difference to the lives of so many people. I truly believe in breaking down language barriers, ensuring that everyone has the right to receive goods and services anywhere in the world.
I am really excited about the endless possibilities and I look forward to another 40 years in the business.”
Raisa McNab, CEO at the Association of Translation Companies, added: “The Eichner Distinguished Service Award was named after the couple who instigated the formation of the ATC, Fred and Nelly Eichner.
This year, the Eichner Award is given to Larry Gould whose career reflects his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment in the language services industry. Larry is an inspiration for his achievements over nearly 40 years in the business, and admired for his dedication, enthusiasm and drive.”
In addition to the Eichner Award, Rachel Ali, Business Development Director at thebigword celebrates success as she won Sales Person of the Year.
